Unlock computer by Smartphone app Zorin-Connect? (because Fingerprint reader not supported)

Hi,

my notebook is a HP ProBook 445 G7 and especially this fingerprint reader of this model isn't supported by Zorin/Debian/Ubuntu. And I'm guessing it never will be.

So why not using a smartphones face unlock or fingerprint reader to unlock the computer?
The bridge between them would be the Zorin Connect app.

This should be possible, right?
