Unsupported GPU Processing Mode

Hey there. I'm new to not just Linux but PCs in general (I've been using MacBook laptops all my life) and so I'm feeling rather out of my depth in trying to get DaVinci to work for me. I need it for work, but keep getting the error in the title popping up each time I try to open it.

I installed it using the Zorin Help guide here, but it isn't detecting my GPU, seemingly, despite other things like Blender working fine. I'm running a AMD RX 9070 XT graphics card, if that helps.

And, yes, I did try referencing other DaVinci related threads on this forum--and other forums--before making this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

This is tricky even for longtime GnuLinux users.
DaVinci is stubborn with AMD GPU's on Linux...

Have you checked this thread?

I recognize the pattern of ChatGPT. That said, the user that posted that output says it worked for them...

Welcome to the Forum!

It is a relatively new Card. Maybe a newer Kernel could help. Beneath DaVinci, does the System run fine?

I did see that post before, though I admit much of it confuses me a bit. Looking at it again, I did try running the suggested:

sudo apt install
ocl-icd-libopencl1
mesa-opencl-icd

and my terminal came up with this.

I think I've seen this 'failed to fetch' a few times now in the course of trying to update drivers or install the right ones or... something. Again this is all very new to me and I appreciate your patience.

To answer Ponce-De-Leon's question, yes, the system has been running fine outside of DaVinci.
