I completely agree. I keep a bowl full of salt at the desk for when I'm watching any video with more than a few thousand views, or reading from one of the popular sites... I usually just scroll down past it and go straight to the comments. More often than not, that's where the real news are.
Mmm, I don't think is that big a reason to bother them. At least, I'm willing to give the internaut bloggers another chance and see what comes out of it. Otherwise, well, that's why the forum is here
I doubt it, neofetch is basically a shells script (~10K lines of code though...) that queries the system using default system utilities. As long as the system is up-to-date it'll be fine.
I am one of those that just skimmed and saw 24.04 thinking that the base was 24.04. But having seen enough references to jammy I started questioning that and reread the text for the "fine print". Either way, the system is "good enough for me". I use flatpak for anything I want to ensure keeps up to date, I presume that the devs will keep the kernel fresh enough to avoid major security issues, and who doesnt want a base that is stable.
