i did flatpak update i think you meant that because flatpack update doesn't work. also not that related to the post but i don't want to create another post for a short question.
Why is there always duplicates of some softwares on store. I want to install inkscape but two inkscapes appear when i search for it, which one do i download ?

Look at the sources.
A duplicate may be provided by Flatpak or by Snap - these are additional alternatives to the standard APT (Advanced package Tool) supplied packages.
