Hello
My upgrade (17.3 Pro to 18.1 Pro) failed on this:
Fatal Error: { GDBus.Error:org.aptkit.TransactionFailed: error-dep-resolution-failed: E:Internal Error, pkgProblemResolver::ResolveByKeep is looping on package libkf5widgetsaddons5:amd64. } (like this: Zorin OS 18 upgrade from Zorin Os 17 - #65 by Ponce-De-Leon)
I installed Kolourpaint from KDE, but I think that's all I think.
Welcome to the Forum!
Is Kolourpaint still installed? Did You installed it from the Zorin Repo's or do You have added a Third-Party Repo?
You can try it with uninstalling that Package with sudo apt remove libkf5widgetsaddons5 and then try the Upgrade again. But I would recommend to do this only when Kolourpaint is uninstalled to avoid that the installed Program might not work right. Or You uninstall it, remove the Package and then start the Upgrader again.

That is exactly it - and if @copartner1301 still needs that package - after upgrading, then reinstall it:
sudo apt install libkf5widgetsaddons5

I had installed kolourpaint from the Zorin repositories. It is why I didn't think it would interfere with the upgrade.
I'm making a full backup of my hard drive with dd, and I'll try upgrading after uninstalling Koulourpaint and libkf5widgetsaddons5 from my second drive.
I'll keep you posted, and thank you for your responses!

Hi, I'm back to let you know that the upgrade was successful.
Thanks for your quick help.
This was my first time upgrading Zorin OS, and I'm glad I managed to do it, but I feel like the process isn't quite polished yet. (Especially the part where it suggests doing a fresh install when things don't work.)
