Upgraded to Zorin 17.3 Core - Now sound crackles

I upgraded from ZorinOS Core 16.3 to ZorinOS 17.3 Core yesterday the upgrade went smoothly except that now the sound has static/ crackling in the back ground. It seems that I recall this happened with version 16 also and it was due to the speech dummy thing, but I cannot find a way to stop that. Suggestions on how to make the static / crackling go away?

I just found out that. If I terminate the pulse audio server then restart it, the crackling goes away. However if I reboot, then initial start up of pulse audio returns the problem. Is there a startup setting I should look at somewhere?

I posted recently in another thread of a few options that could help in regards to static / crackling audio, you could take a look at a few of the options and see if they would help you out or not:

Had similar problem on POP-OS! upgraded from 22.04 to 24.04.
Removed Pavucontrol and Strawberry. Rebooted. Installed both again and no more sound problem.
