Hi there, was anyone able to install urbackup client including the gui ? I was able to install the Ubuntu version as a backgroundservice but the gui was not installed and I have no clue how to do this ?

Looking at the Downloads section of the UrBackup site Linux is command line only - no GUI.
I first also wrote this answer to frua. But then I changed it, because to me it looks as only the Linux Binary is just commandline and installing it from source offers a gui (there is mentioned a "urbackupclientgui").
Also the arch package seems to have a gui for the client - maybe it could also be converted into a .deb package if the other installation method doesn't work.
Finally after 4 days Iḿ back and had the chance to give it another try and I was able to start the gui on Linux after installing everything from scratch. Thanks for all your replies and happy new year to all of you !!
