USB Port on Wireless Router

We recently got an new TP-Link AX4400 wireless router. The router has a USB port on it and we have an external hard drive connected to it.

I have Zorin 15 OS set up as a dual boot with Windows 10.

If I go into Windows, I am able to see and access the hard drive connected to the router. But, when I try to access it in Zorin, it does not see the hard drive. The computer is connected to the TP wireless network.

Anyone know how to access the hard drive in Zorin? Thanks.

Are You using Zorin Core? Would be nice if You could add that to Your Profile. If You should: Did You take a Look in Nautilus and there in ''Other Places''?

I am running the free version of Zorin 15.3, so it is not the core.

I am not familiar with Nautilus. What is it or where do I find it?

Nautilus is the file manager of Gnome (core).

You should really upgrade your system 15 is long dead and buried.

I know it may be a long time ago, but when you downloaded the Z15.3 .iso file, what was the filename? We really could do with a clue which edition of Z15.3 you are using e.g. Core, Lite, etc. Also, if Lite, is it the 64bit or 32bit version. These are both Free editions.
If you are unable to answer that, maybe you can tell us if you have gnome or xfce desktop.
FYI Nautilus is the name of the Files app in Core/Pro editions.

Like @Storm wrote Nautilus is the File Manager. In the System simply called ''Files''.

To find out what Zorin Version do You have:
Are You using the Gnome or xfce Desktop?
When You go in the Settings and there to the About Tab, You should get a Info List of Your System where should stand what Zorin Version do You use. You could look there, too.

Do you know the LAN IP address of your router? It will probably be something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.

If you go into Other Locations in the file browser, there should be a box at the bottom labelled something like "Connect to Server". Next to that, there should be a box where you can type a server address.

Try typing in there:

smb://192.168.1.1

(or whatever the IP address of your router is) and then hit the Connect button.

You are thinking of Pro.
Core is the free version.
The editions are

  • Pro or Pro Lite
  • Core
  • Lite
  • Education Core or Education Lite

The lite name is a bit misleading. It is a Lighter desktop environment on resource usage, not a lightly packaged O.S.
Lite uses the XFCE desktop environment. Core uses the Gnome desktop environment.

Okay, that worked. Thanks
