I have a 30GB USB drive and its being detected by ZorinOS 17.3 via Disks but it is not interactable and says no media. I cannot partition or format it. GParted does not even recognize it now. What do I do?

The other question is how old is the thumb drive. I hate to say it but thumb drives don't last forever, especially if it has had substantial re-writes as they are miniature versions of SSD's.
Although you cannot format the USB drive in ZorinOS, do you know what formatting it currently has?
Can you read it on a Windows machine?
