Using passthru HDMI-in port on an HP Envy all-in-one

Hi, folks. I'm pretty new to Zorin and loving it so far. I've been testing it out on an old HP Envy all-in-one with a curved display. It has an HDMI in port that allows the monitor to be used as a display for another computer. I'd like to maintain this functionality as I'm currently using it as a monitor for another computer. Is this possible with Zorin OS? On Windows I either r-click on the desktop and select HDMI Display control > Switch to HDMI Input, or press Shift+S+D on my keyboard to switch to the HDMI-in port, but there's no such option in Zorin.

Welcome to the forum!

I can't help you unfortunately with the software toggle side as I don't have an all-in-one with an HDMI-in port to test with. However, what I would ask is does the computer have a physical button on it that you could switch the inputs that way? I realize it wouldn't be as convenient if this were the case, but if it has it, it should in theory work.

The last all-in-one I used had a physical switch I used to select the IN port (although this must have been at least 10 years ago at this point).

Holy smokes! It does have a button! I've had this computer for almost ten years and never knew that was there. I'll give this a try! Will let you know if it works! Thanks for your help!
