Virtualbox machines crash

Hello, I am a long time user of ZorinOS and have found it to be the most stable Linux distro out there. However, I have continually run into issues with running VM's through virtualbox. I can't figure out what is going wrong and it is beginning to get frustrating. It's one of the few things (very few) that doesn't work on Zorin in my experience.

I won't go into my past issues but will post them on the forum if they come back to bite me. Currently, I am trying to install windows 11 in a VM. I have tried multiple different configurations, ensuring that I have 8+ gigs of RAM and 6+ cores. Each time I try and boot it, it fails.

FYI: I was trying to install it as if it was a Linux distro instead of windows. I have tried it past, letting virtualbox choose windows as the OS type.

Here is the last bit of the logs.

Here is the output I ran on my computer checking that virtualization was working.

Here are my system specs:

Any help would be appreciated. This has been a recurring problem that I would like to try to eliminate.

Also, I have had luck with different versions of VB on Zorin in the past. So maybe a dependency issue?

Welcome to the forum!

Just for clarification, when you say you've had success with different VB versions in the past, which versions specifically are you referring to? And were they working with Windows 11, or earlier versions? Also, have you tried other versions of windows to know if they work on this current version? I know you'll need EFI to be checked off to make it boot up, and make sure the disk is a large enough size as well. I'll include a link here for information, as you may also have to do a regedit (as I have done in the past) to make it happy to install:
How to install Microsoft Windows 11 on VirtualBox!

Hello what version of VirtualBox do you have?

Also if you choose operating system Windows/Windows 11 it gives you a better base machine to put your hard disk on. Also the defaults Windows 11 needs. Leave everything at default, even the 2 cpu (for the install, you can bump it up later if you need. You can change - more RAM if you want, make clock UTC time, take off secure boot. Keep EFI though. It will give you 128MB video memory as default, see you have 16MB of memory default on this Linux machine you made. You can bump that up but, just choosing Windows 11 gives the better base machine anyway. Need more than 8GB disk. Default is 80. Your .vdi is 8? Not even on SATA but IDE? Not even sure how that came to be. Anyway 8GB, that is default for "generic Linux machine". Very junky. Also it enable PAE/NX which is for 32 bit. Win 11 doesn't need it.

When making machine, Linux "other" or Other "unknown" make very junky systems meant for booting utilities not operating systems (EDIT or maybe also for very old systems that are 32 bit). See how it's not even EFI. At very least, make Linux Ubuntu/64 or Debian/64 or something. Otherwise you have to go through and reset everything.
