VirtualBox Stopped Working Even After Reinstall

Hello. I went to open a Windows 10 virtual machine I created a few weeks ago which was working fine then, but when I opened it today, it was asking for the ISO file I used to install it. I tried to redirect it to a copy of the Windows 10 ISO saved on my hard drive, but then it kept giving me the following error"

A critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped.

For help, please see the Community section on https://www.virtualbox.org or your support contract. Please provide the contents of the log file VBox.log and the image file VBox.png, which you can find in the /home/fox/VirtualBox VMs/Windows 10/Logs directory, as well as a description of what you were doing when this error happened. Note that you can also access the above files by selecting Show Log from the Machine menu of the main VirtualBox window.

Press OK if you want to power off the machine or press Ignore if you want to leave it as is for debugging. Please note that debugging requires special knowledge and tools, so it is recommended to press OK now.

So, I ended up deleting my original VM and selected the same ISO to start from scratch. Long story short, it kept giving me the same errors, even after uninstalling VirtualBox, deleting the VirtualBox directory in my home directory, deleting the ~/.config/VirtualBox, shutting down and restarting my machine, reinstalling VirtualBox, and still - it is giving me the same error. I also recently updated my Zorin install - could that be related?

What does the the VBox.log file say as suggested in the output?

There have been a few issues with Virtual Box, so most likely yes. Looking into this further it seems that the issue has been fixed in a recent version of Virtual Box, which is not available by default in Zorin OS. Please take a look at this thread on how to update:
