Virtualbox, ZorinOS and Secure Boot

Hello,

IS it possible to install and run a Windows 10 instance in virtualbox if I am dual booting and have Secure Boot enabled in the bios. I tried to get it to work but running the vm failed with "Kernel driver not installed (rc=1908)" and messages about the need to sign the vbox kernel modules. I don't have a clue how to do that and the info I've been able to look up isn't really clear or specific to Zorin. So is this doable without too much hassle? Thanks in advance.

Only to be precise about Your Setup: You have only Zorin installed and You want set up a VM with Windows? Or do You have already a Dual-Boot System with Zorin and Windows and You want in zorin a VM with Windows 10?

I currently dual boot Zorin OS 18 and Windows 11. Secure boot is enabled and cannot be disabled in the ASUS bios without first deleting the secure boot keys (if I understand the bios correctly) which i don't want to do. So I'm looking for a way to run a Windows VM in Zorin OS without disabling Secure Boot.

Does the VM Software not offer Setup-Options for Secure Boot?

Yes it does.

but i still get the following error:

guess i;ll try another way. I've never had good luck with VBox.

And when You unmark the ''Enable Secure Boot'' Option? You could take a Look at Gnome Boxes. Maybe that works better for You.
