Hi,

I meet the same issue with my Chrome Windows using Wayling as described here : Wayland: maximized windows extend under panels after changing monitors configuration, screen blanking, or suspend/resume (#1627) · Issues · GNOME / mutter · GitLab

There is a patch but it seems to work only with Gnome 45.

Anyone have the same problem or a fix for that please?

This bug is getting quite frustrating; I'm almost tempted to switch back to X11 just because of this issue.
I can see why the patch won't work.
It makes some changes in src/wayland/meta-wayland-window-configuration.c file (that does not seem to exist on my OS).

Any idea to make it work properly?
