WebApps GUI Broken, can i help?

Hi,

I noticed the webapps gui is broken, the StartupWMClass=your-app-name seems not to work properly causing all apps in the dock to appear under the specific web browser. As apposed to getting their own icon in the dock.

I'm wondering if there is a repo i could make a PR and fix this issue or if i made my own WebApp GUI specifically for Zorin OS would that be alright?

I'm really enjoying integration of webapps in Zorin 18 : MS Office 365, OneDrive, Seafile Cloud Drive, Chat DeepSeek - work fast and flawlessly. One problem though : they are shown in a dash as a gear icon, difficult to distinsuish. Is there any way to assign a specific icon to a specific webapp for dash? Menu icons are assigned by the app, but these are not the icons shown in the dash.

Is the Browser installed as Flatpak or .deb/APT Version? You could also try it with reinstalling the WebApps Program with sudo apt reinstall webapp-manager

Yeah thank you!! This is exactly the guide I’ve been following to fix it in the mean time but figured a PR or new app catered to Zorin beginner users might be something.

I’ll take a stave at it this month and share it here

Unfortunately this didn’t fix my issues, the guide above mentioned did help but the process is manual and honestly not as fun to set up for all the apps.
