WebApps, 'KungFu' - (Zorin OS, Day 2 - Hey That Rhymed!)

Okay Peeps...

Today I would like assistance in getting Opera Browser(downloaded through the Software App as a Flatpack), available, as a browser for use with the WebApps app...

The ability to use Opera in such fashion IS-A-MUST because:

  1. Thus Far It Is THE BEST Streaming Browser To Date(as per MY experience), due to:
    a. Opera has a free built in VPN which allows me access to content outside my country(but not region)...
b.(& MOST IMPORTANTLY) Opera allows Dolby Atmos content from Disney Plus(etc, still unsure about another frequented site)to pass through to my system...

BUT when I try to choose Opera in WebApps, only Brave is available...
Will someone PLEASE instruct me on how to rectify this?

Thank You...

P.S. If anyone needs tips on setting up & using Dolby Atmos PROPERLY for Movies & Gaming, let me know - I'm CERTAIN I can help you...

I'm not sure if opera supports PWA now.

You could test it with the native .deb package instead (add the opera repository first), sometimes flatpaks make more problems because of the permissions, but I found no threads that opera browser supports web apps at all in October 2026.

Edit: I tested it with the .deb package but opera is not available in the web apps and there seem to be no function in opera browser to install a site as web app. So, if you want to use web apps, choose another browser.
