So what did Zorin update 16.2 bring? Been reading its out currently but I cant find anything about it. Also whats the stock kernel on 16.2?
Currently, the 5.15.0-52 kernel as of 26 Oct.
16.2 is a Point Release that includes a long list of patches, bug fixes and general improvements.
I am not aware of it bring new features.

Zorin 16.2 still based on ubuntu 20.04 ? Does this not mean that it reached eol ? Ubuntu is already on 22.04 and only supports LTS releases for 2 years.
No, it will receive full support including hardware and maintenance until April of 2025.
It will receive extended security support until April of 2030.
LTS support is 5 years.
It is important to note that while Zorin OS 16 is based on Ubuntu 20.04, it is not Ubuntu 20.04.
For example, at the time of Release, Zorin OS contained the kernel and several packages that were not included in Ubuntu until 21.04 and 21.10 interim.
Zorin OS Lite 16 used XFCE 4.16, whereas Xubuntu 20.04 used XFCE 4.14
