This had a Linux version. But, I switched to Exaile - it has become the best music player I have tried so far. Many people have different opinions and you can find many great media players so... Go wild. Try them out.
There is a Linux Version.
I replace the default Nautilus File Manager on Zorin OS (Files) with Nemo File Manager which has built-in search function, including Content within files.
I use Xfburn; I believe Zorin OS comes with Brassero. You can install either and try them out.
I use this - it has a Linux version.
I have no idea. I recommend against using these except in Extreme Situations. They often do more harm than good.
Native alternatives include BleachBit; UbuntuCleaner, Stacer...
If you search through the software store, you can find many Windows alternatives. You will notice however, some apps on Windows, actually have Linux native versions too, like Blender for example, the most famous 3D modeler app in the world. @Aravisian already has you on the right track, for the apps you requested though.
FYI, I like SMPlayer, its the best media player I've used on Linux, and has some good features to it as well.
You may find AlternativeTo.net useful as you adapt. It's a site that basically crowdsources recommendations for software that can be an alternative to other software. You can also filter by OS so you won't wade through countless Windows options. For example, here's their alternatives page for Winamp, filtered for Linux:
If you're looking for an IDM alternative for Linux, CDM is a great option that's very similar. The older versions had some bugs, but I'm not sure about the latest ones.
AB Download Manager gets updated the fastest and is also very similar to IDM, but it's missing features like downloading from YouTube.
FDM is really famous and works great, but it's not the best when it comes to user privacy.
Personally, I use Motrix. It has the fastest speeds and the simplest interface. The downside is that it hasn't been updated in a long time. There are a few forks of it, but they aren't as good as the original. I've dropped the links for you
Thanks smplayer is excellent and simple to install from the software part in zorin, it seems most things I require aren't that simple from the suggestion above yours
I just got rid of AB, I will try CDM next, unfortunately IDM is leagues ahead of anything as regards the many sites it supports and supports audio and video
although 4k downloader does support videos, it doesnt support as many sites
is there a Winrar for linux please? that has an interface as I do not want command line
Most distros have a GUI archive manager, I'd be surprised if Zorin doesn't have one pre-installed. I haven't felt the need to hunt for a different one ever since moving to linux, like I had to with WinRAR then 7zip on Windows.
