I think "How did you pull this off?" is what I think. Seriously, I would be very grateful for a detailed guide on getting Zorin to Plasma 6. I like Zorin quite a bit, and I REALLY like the community here, but all the way back to '98, when I experimented with Slackware, I strongly preferred KDE over GNOME. (Yes, yes, it's KDE Plasma now, I know. It wasn't then.)
I followed a tutorial on Youtube and added my own elements as well
That isn't Plasma 6. You can see it on the first Picture of @AndreiMihai. In the Windows stands that it is Plasma 5.24.7.
To @AndreiMihai:
Was that a Video of LinuxScoop?
And because of Your Thread Question: It hink when You like Plasma and it suits You, You should use it. That is all what matters. I'm not a great Fan of Plasma. I don't ike the Style and the Usage. But it has in my Opinion really good Stuff build-in. You have a ton of Setting-Options. Some People could find that overwhelming at the first Look. But You can set up all what You want. The built-in Customization Options are nice to have, too I would say.
I used the command sudo apt install kde-plasma, but I guess the Zorin crew didn't update the support to KDE 6 in their repositories
Yeah, they haven't. Sigh. Ah well.
The Plasma Desktop doesn't come from the Zorin Repo's. It comes from the Ubuntu LTS Repo's.
