Well not so much a NAS as a mail server - you could, but then you would have to pay for a domain and register it - it's then also dependent on how secure that domain licence is. If there is a community driven project out there like 'e', founded by Gaël Duval, founder of Mandrake Linux, then I think it is going to be secure!
