What's the status of the upgrader situation?

Hi to everyone. What's the status of the upgrader situation? Has it been fixed yet?

EDIT: Am talking about the upgrader for Zorin 17 to 18. (Thanks.)

The Upgrader is still in Beta.

I am wondering when it can be expected? In Oct 2025 it was said that the upgrade would be available in "the coming weeks"... was there unexpected setbacks ?

Welcome to the Forum!

I don't have further Informations about that, sorry. It is ready when it is ready. You can already use the Upgrader if You wish- but as I wrote: It is in Beta. So it could be unstable and maybe not work right. You don't have to have Issues but it could happen. That is the Risk.

Is the upgrader being developed in the open? Or are you publishing progression notes somewhere? Know bugs?

Thanks for your response anyway. I might back up my system and try the upgrader even though its in Beta. I installed Zorin OS 18 on my laptop and I'm excited to get it on my desktop too
