When typing in the temninal "tnef winmail.dat" from the directory,I get a message "garbage at end of file" .......!!
I need to open this file , can anyone suggest why this should occur ?

I think I already read this error and I think it has to do with the file name or its content. The process don't expect that “garbage” piece .dat or inside the file itself, this is what I vaguely remember about this error 
. What if you enter tnef winmail?
