I just saw gnome 47 and right now I'm thinking when will this release comes to zorin os
Thanks in advance
It will happen when Zorin OS 18 is released in a ~ year and half.
I wouldn't be sure about that. If Zorin uses for Zorin 18 Ubuntu 24 LTS it could be theoretically Gnome 46. Now we have on Zorin 17 the Situation that they putted Gnome 43 on the Ubuntu 22 LTS Base which had in origin Gnome 42.
The Question is: Would they do this again or was it an Exception?
So, eventually we don't get Gnome 47. We could simply get Ubuntu's Gnome 46 and on the next Main Release a Version that is higher than 47.
Mmm I'm still convinced that the transition from Gnome 3.x to Gnome 40.x was significant in terms of workload, enough to cause delays. But Zorin OS 17 managed to include Gnome 43 whereas Ubuntu 22.04 used Gnome 42 — at the time of release, anyway.
I have the feeling that the next release will be a good one.
Yes, they have. But I'm sure it was a lot of Work to do this.
I share that. That should be very interesting.
