I'm now on 18.1 and I cannot see any way to assign whatever sound to whatever alert or action. (I miss the bark sound from 17.x, and yes, I do have everything backed up!)
Is there no sound app?

Don't know if it's the same in Zorin 18, but used Ubuntu 24.04 as search criteria on which 18 is basd on:
" In Ubuntu 24.04 , alert sounds (event sounds) are managed through the Sound settings panel. To configure or disable these sounds, open Settings , navigate to Sound , and locate the Sounds section. Here, you can select an Alert Sound from the available clips, adjust the System Sounds volume slider independently, or mute the alerts entirely."
