Does it persist after a reboot? That sounds like Gnome Shell crash or fail to initialize.

Have you tried to click on an other layout at Zorin appearance and then select your favorite layout?

Do you have installed other third party gnome extensions or citrix workspace?

Can You give more Details? Did You received any Updates before? Did You installed any Programs or Gnome Extensions? Is this a fresh Install?

If you can get to your extensions manager, make sure everything Zorin is enabled. When Zorin extensions get disabled, thats when things like the taskbar dissapear. Make sure "Zorin Menu" is on.
