Why do some of my files have lock symbols?

Well? Only some of the files show this symbol.

It means you don't hav permission to read/write or see the files. Usually in the root section.

Thanks. Any idea on why I cannot access that folder?

I tried 4 different passwords, my computer account, and 3 passwords for Unifi. None work.

That folder is a network folder. I have asked this same question over on the Truenas forum but no one has helped me.

I can change the permissions for the network folder but no matter who "owns" the folders, I still cannot access it.

Thanks to a reply on another forum... You need to have an account with a UID of 1000 and wheel group.
