Wi-Fi not working on macbook "No Wi-Fi Adapter Found"

I installed Zorin OS 18 Education on an old macbook pro. It has Broadcom BCM4331

  • I have reviewed some posts at this forum and some on ask ubuntu. Installed the .deb packages listed in the following but no success.
    Installing on Mac: No Wi-Fi Adapter Found - #11 by PlumpKibbles

  • There is suggestion to install b43-firmware. I was trying the offline installation instructions in the following link, but those links to .deb files are not available and searching for the package did not get much

  • Here is the network adapter info
    $ sudo lshw -C network
    [sudo] password for d:
    *-network UNCLAIMED

Can someone help with possible solutions?

Did a websearch using "BCM4331 802.11a/b/g/n Ubuntu 24.04"

Found this, which one of the comments may give a steer.

Is on the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab in Software & Updates a Driver offered?

As Ponce asked, have a look at Additional Drivers via Software & Updates, look in here for your WIFI driver...

This is also the same place you go to select and Nvidia GPU driver, id you have Nvidia graphics.
