Wi-Fi not working

I’m using an HP Laptop 17z-cp100. It has an RTL8821CE Wi-Fi Chip. I have Zorin OS Core 17.2 installed. The Wi-Fi works fine at first, but some time after I boot the computer, the Wi-Fi cuts out and the Wi-Fi settings says that no Wi-Fi adapter is found. Once I reboot, it’s back to normal, and repeat.

EDIT:
On the terminal, I tried to do sudo ip link set wlo1 up, and it returned that the operation was already in progress. Also, the computer does still detect that the adapter is there (if I use the terminal). I am not dual booting with any other OS.

After searching for "RTL8821CE Linux" these are some threads that might help you:

Are you dual-booting with Windows?
If true, In Windows>Settings>Power untick Fast Start-up
That may sometimes result in Windows hogging a device like WiFi adapter.

@zabadabadoo I am not dual booting with windows, I switched to Zorin OS because it takes up 50gb less space than Windows (and on Windows I always had to keep deleting stuff to install things because I only had less than 1gb of space left on the SSD)
