WiFi signal is very weak

Hello,

ive just installed

Zorin-OS-17.3-Core-64-bit-r2

from official site.

There is problem with WiFi - i cant see any other options than my own router which is located in the other room and even then its signal is so weak that its not even possible to connect to the network.

Ive already tried to install driver for WiFi adapter, disabled secure boot, bluetooth, but with no results.

Previously i was using Ubuntu 25.04 and there was no issue with that.

The device is ASUS Laptop VivoBook 15 X540BA.

Hi, welcome to the community!

Can you share the output of running this command in a terminal? This will show us information related to your network cards, drivers, etc.

sudo lshw -C network

Did You take a Look in the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab in Software & Updates if there is a Driver for Your Wifi offered?

The problem was on my side.

Before installing Zorin, i was upgrading RAM in notebook and accidentally pulled WiFi adapters cable out.

After fixing this everything works.
