Hello. I am currently using pop_os, just because of ubuntu 22.04. it has some nice features but nothing in comparison to zorin, and it has a lot of bugs. and now the pop_os team is working on a home made DE build on rust, cosmic DE. it looks good to be honest.
and now I am wondering if in the future zorin will support that DE, or if it can be installed in zorin? what would be the risks of installing it by myself?

The cosmic desktop release date is sometime in 2024. This ground up is a rewrite and not customized Gnome.

Neither ZorinOS 17 nor Cosmic DE are stable releases yet, so I don't think it's very productive to speculate and test something that is likely to change without prior notice?
