Win 10 my computer

Hello..I'm just missing one thing.. Like in windows 10, where can I find my own computer and how can I put it on the desktop? Or is there no such thing in Zorin? Thanks for the answer!

Welcome to the dark side! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

To get that, and some other icons like Trash and mounted drives - head over to Zorin Appearance and under 'Desktop', enable which icons you would like to see!:

'Home' would be your home folder - sort of like 'My Computer' from Windows. I know some distros actually add a 'Computer' directory on the desktop. Once you're in the file manager, you can navigate to 'Other Locations' at the bottom and then 'Computer' - which will be the root of your drive.. so just be careful in there!

Thank you very much for the quick response/help! Do all the drivers work on it? So far I've only tried Zorin itself on a virtual machine, but I really like it..I think it works much faster on a regular machine.

No worries!

All the drivers - not sure which ones you mean. What machine are you using; make / model?

I've only had to play around with drivers for hardware that's either too new, or just not that popular enough to get attention for drivers in Linux.

A good way to test to see what works and what doesn't is just boot your machine with the Live installer and 'Try Zorin' when asked - poke around and see what works, what doesn't. That's usually a good indicator of what will work OOB (out of the box). You could also open 'Additional Drivers' in the applications menu (with internet connected) to see if any driver installs pop up for your machine.
