I just tried Joplin, by the way thanks, i didn't know it !
I don't have bug with it, i can move window around without issue ...
Do you use Nvidia or any proprietary driver ?

I had the same issue on Wayland but not with X11.

Not having a bug for one user doesn't mean there are not plenty of bugs, read all the forum and see how many people resolve issues just by switching to X11...
And for security let me just laugh, it could be if they know what they are doing, and let me laugh again when they worked 6 years just to manage windows placement.

I have read it's true, people often recommend to switch from Wayland to X11.
But as many questions, it's needed to get many opinions before get a right décision.
As a matter of fact, i'll like to know if serious distro such as Fedora, are "out of there mind" to switch on Wayland as default. But i am veryfar to be an expert and as i said, i myself mostly use X11 as daily ...

That wasn't really because of Security. Fedora is at then End their Testing Ground for RHEL. And so, they bring up new Stuff in it.

Have you tried to use Joplin with the free driver if there is this possibility with AMD ?

This is well know ... But Fedora is much more, used even by new linux users as i was in 2010 /11, with very available and competent communities.

Have you any feedback yet from Joplin team ?
To view if you are using free or non-free driver you can go to "software and updates" > tab "additional drivers"
then have a look if using free or non-free if proposed
in a terminal :
glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer"
Should give you the driver in use

For AMD graphics cards, the drivers are not shown at "additional drivers" and the open source drivers used by default and included into the linux kernel.
