Windoze drive scans after linux usage

Is there a workaround so that windoze doesn't have to rescan the drive on a login after using linux in dual boot mode?

Is it Windows Explorer rescanning the drive after it has been used by Linux or a Scan and Fix prompt? That question may be better asked on a Windows forum.
