Issue
I have installed WordPress localhost and running smoothly on zorin os 16 but the issue is when we try to install plugins then its asks ftp credential
wordpress|461x500
When I add these lines in wp-config.php
define( 'FS_METHOD', 'direct' );
its show different error for creating a file in the directory
if anyone can solve then I will be thankful
How did you install WordPress? Is it a snap or deb package?
Its .run file You can download it directly from Xampp software for Linux Next you have to follow the installation process from the terminal
! changing permissions etc
further I also added the Xampp control center in the Menu (Applications) which is already installed
