i have been trying to install deskflow, because i have been told by gpt that is the only application that works on zorin and windows to share my mouse and keyboard from windows hosts to zorin client, currently i have been trying to install this for a while but unable to do so due to qt version incompatiablitiy with os, if there is a working mouse sharing app between windows or linux to zorin i would like to have it,
Are you talking about a virtual machine? You have Windows as host and Zorin as guest? Do you use Virtualbox or virt-manager or something else?

Maybe you need to switch to Xorg if you are running on Wayland. The Wayland support may not be good or not available for those apps.
Logout and at login click on your username then a cog wheal appears at the bottom right corner. There you can switch between Xorg and Wayland.
Have you tried it with the flatpak of Deskflow? The flatpak of deskflow may work in Zorin with Wayland. The developers recommend the flatpak for ubuntu 24.04 because the .deb doesn't work in Ubuntu Noble (Zorin is based on) because of missing dependencies.
Im using Synergy (The paid Version of DeskFlow) and its working fine for me On Zorin 18.1. (Zorin 18.1 - Server/Host Computer And Windows 10 Client Computer) , I just used the Ubuntu 24.04 Installer which was a .deb so I don't see why it wouldn't work on Deskflow BUT the I agree that the flatpak version should def work. Also keep in mind that if you run it on Wayland you will NOT have Clipboard Support at this time. But Clipboard support IS working with x11.
I always found whilst working from home GNu/Linux host and Windows guest using virt-manager was best, with seamless mouse moving from host monitor to guest monitor seamlessly.
