X-Air digital audio mixer

I have downloaded from Behringer the Linux software X-Air_Edit_Linux_1.5.tar.gz

I have to install it on Zorin17.3 to see if it works as good as the Win10 version.

Anyone done this previous who can advise the process. There is a general youtube video I have seen but it is not specifically Zorin?

First time I hear about. But try unpack it and see what it contains of files.
You know there's several of open source apps for audio mixing if you can't get it to run.

Do you have a download link, so I can test it? Their homepagge is a mess to find anything on :stuck_out_tongue:

There is also a flatpak version of Behringer that you perhaps could use:

It is version 1.8.

Your downloaded tar.gz file is a bit old, there is also a newer version 1.8 to download.

Could You maybe be more precise what Software for what Model You have downloaded. I take a Look at the Download Page and there is a lot Stuff for this X Air Thing.

Yeah I did also download a 1.8 firmware update. Thank you.

I downloaded the flathub you sent link of. The software image looks exactly the same as my running Windows10 type. I still have to find out how to install it? Is it with Terminal?

You don't need to download from the flatpak site. Flatpak is integrated in your software center. Just search for it in the software center.

Search for X Air edit in the software center (blue bag icon on your taskbar) and choose flatpak package (flathub) then.

Ok, you can tell I am relatively new to Linux World. Thanks.

Will do.

I have located the package I needed within the internal repository as suggested, installed, tested, modified cosmetically the inputs after the snapshot load. Everything has worked perfectly. As this is in my session room, I tested on myself with no problems.

I suspect I am not the only person seeing this who is one hundred percent baffled.

This is the esoteric enclosure I use for balancing the human body's major meridians (chakras). I use Light, Sound, Sacred Geometry (Dodecahedron copper platonic frame) and Crystals. You have micro level dodecahedrons in your DNA. The X-Air Edit sound mixer supplies audio to the large headphones and speaker boxes that have the sound technology program that clients absorb in the process. I just thought I'd throw in the pic as something different?

It is different, interesting and amazing. It led me down a rabbit hole of researching practices of cultural significance and learning about other traditional practices.

Admittedly, having studied biotechnology with UC Berkeley, I can attest that DNA does not adopt a dodecahedron structure at any recognized organizational level; whether in the double helix, chromosomal packaging, or higher-order genome structures.

What this means for the forum is that we all must avoid Medical Advise being given in this setting, which is a GnuLinux and technology discussion and troubleshooting board.

You mentioned "Clients" - which is self promotion of a business on the forum; and medical advise - which touches the Forum Guidelines. Please avoid those specific comments even as you share items of interest.
It is great that your software solutions help you in real life practice and that we can see the culmination of being helpful to your success.
