I'm wondering, why there are two functions for screen saving in Zorin Lite. Which one takes precedence? By default, they're set to different times, and I don't understand what the difference is between them. When the XFCE screensaver is set to blank screen (the default setting), it doesn't make something else than the display power management, it just makes a blank screen.
I noticed problems with resetting the screen brightness after screen blanking when both were enabled in Zorin 17 Lite.
It is better to use just one or to set the same time for screen blanking?
These are 2 different Functions: Screensaver and Power Management. But they can adress the same Thing - with 2 different Foundations.
I would only use one of them to avoid Interferences or set up bot the same. But even then both Programs would be do something, only at the same Time. So, I would disable one. But this is only my personal View.
I've run into that problem countless times. I almost always disable the screensaver settings (even though I like screensavers sometimes) as it seems like it often takes precedence over my settings in power, which has lead to fun situations of it constantly locking a lock screen (that was a long time ago I ran into it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it could happen still).
