Trying to get touch and pen to work on a ThinkPad x200 tablet. It works on initial install, but does not work after first reboot. It seems to be a feature of Ubuntu 22.04 distributions as the device works just fine with Debian 12. I believe it is because the 22.04 distros use Wayland.
Just wondering if there is any way to switch to Xorg so I can confirm that it is Wayland causing the trouble.
If you log out (not lock) the computer, and go to log in, once the password field is available and you can type, there should be a little cog in the bottom right of the screen.
From there, you can select Zorin on Xorg and test your issues there.
Let us know if you need anything else.

Go to the Login Screen like @applecheeks37 wrote. Not the Lock Screen! An easy Way is a simple Reboot. On the Login Screen click on your Profile so that the Password Field appears. It has to be appeared! Without it will not work. When it is appeared, You should see in the bottom right Corner a Gear Icon. Click on it and choose the Option ''Zorin Desktop on Xorg''. It should look like this:
From login screen, click on password field as if to login, but see cog icon that appears.
From cog icon, you should get choice of Wayland or X11 that you can then select.

To all, thank you for the suggestions.
Alas, while I could select use Xorg, it did not resolve the issue. Once the computer was shut down, and restarted, all touch and Wacom pen input was gone. In settings, the Wacom tablet options were no longer there. This is the same behaviour as the Wayland based desktop.
Since this is a tablet computer, and I would like to use it as such, it is back to Debian, as it works just fine with that. Pity as I would like to standardize on one version of Linux and otherwise, Zorin looked like the likely candidate.
