Since I installed Zorin OS 18, watching YouTube videos has become almost unusable because the audio stutters frequently.
This happens in multiple browsers, including Firefox, Brave, and Google Chrome, and occurs under both X11 and Wayland sessions.

Do you have installed the Multimediacodecs? Go to software center and scroll down to the end to codecs and install them all.
For further codecs:
sudo apt install ubuntu-restricted-extras ffmpeg vlc
The ubuntu restricted extras contain Microsoft fonts and therefore you have to agree to the license.
Do you have audio problems when you watch a downloaded video?
You may also want to look into the YouTube options for "ambient mode" and deselect that.
I installed the multimedia codecs (ubuntu-restricted-extras, ffmpeg, VLC).
After that, I tested video playback in VLC for a longer time and the audio does not stutter.
The problem only appears in the browser when playing YouTube videos.
What is your sound output device? Speakers, Headphones...How are they connected (bluetooth, cable)
You could check the download rate while playing videos in browser.
Maybe it helps to disable hardware acceleration in your browser settings.
Welcome to the Forum!
You could try it with disabled Hardware Acceleration in the Browsers.
My sound output device is speakers, connected via a 2.0 cable. Hardware acceleration is disabled in the browser.
On Ubuntu 24.04, Linux Mint, and Zorin OS, I experience audio stuttering when playing YouTube videos. However, on Debian 13 and openSUSE 16.0, there is no stuttering at all, even under high CPU load. I really like Zorin OS, so I would be happy if there is a solution for this. I have already updated PipeWire to version 1.4.9, but this did not fix the issue.
Could You post the Output of the Command sudo lshw -C multimedia please?

You could try if a later kernel would help, e.g. mainline or liquorix.
With the 6.18.2-2-liquorix-amd64 kernel, the audio stuttering issue has been resolved. I performed a stress test, and during the test, there was no stuttering. Thank you for the help.
A lot of Intel audio issues of late. The only solution I have seen has been to install a recent (but stable) linux kernel.
