[Z 16] Will be any 32 bits version?

Hi everyone ! I want to only know because of curiosity. Will be a 32 bits Lite version for Zorin 16 anymore ?
I ask because Ubuntu has not offered 32-bit versions for a very long time
Will be only Lite (64 Bits) ?

Hi,

Sorry, No 32-bit. It have been phased out I'm afraid.

Zorin is based on Ubuntu. So if Ubuntu abandon 32 bit then Zorin will not have a 32 bit Ubuntu to base Zorin on.

Well, here's the thing, 32-bit computers haven't been a thing since the early 2000's. As such, developers see no need, to support 32-bit hardware going beyond 20-years anymore. 32-bit support has been phazed out in modern kernals, so that means no hardware support.

There will however still be support to operate 32-bit applications in compatibility mode on 64-bit operating systems, so that support will continue for now.

If 32-bit hardware support is still a requirement for you, unfortunately that will force you to continue using older versions of Zorin OS, or other Linux operating systems that use older kernals.
