One of the things that Zorin left out with the release of Zorin 17 following feedback of users, was to leave out games altogether. I don't use Zorin as my daily driver but on recent install I removed gnome-software (Software) and installed games via Synaptic Package Manager. Once installed AisleRiot Solitaire, a new Games icon appeared in the form of a gaming controller coloured green. Once opened all installed games are showing. Just to be clear you are not making reference to games using Steam or similar (Lutris) or WINE?
Additionally, did you run software update pre and post install followed by a reboot of the system? Lastly make sure your Software Updater under System has its software sources set to Main Server and not your country's server.
