Zorin 17 Pro to 18 Pro Failed with DBus Error

While attempting to use the updater to go from 17.3 to 18 Pro (using purchased key) I'm getting errors that ultimately seem to boil down to the DBus. All updates are up to date and I moved all 3rd party sources to a backup folder.

In the rare case anyone else runs into this error it was caused by the 'wrong' version of Python being installed on my system. Uninstalled that version, installed the apt python version and Bob's your uncle!
