The below warning lines appears after shifting update repository from (say US the default set during installation) to Main Server.

Yes, you can comment out or remove the duplicates.

I had that too and I made it so:

Open the Terminal and type: sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Then You go to Line 5 and Line 26 and make a # at the Beginning of the Line. When You made that press ctrl+o to save it, then press Enter to confirm and then press ctrl+x to close it.

After that makte sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

Can you elaborate on why you changed the server?

When I first found out about Zorin OS, I did something similar because I like fiddling with things and learning by trial/error...

That said, I remember being told that upon installation of the Zorin OS .iso we download, the repo servers your installation version needs are already added and maintained automatically.

From what I can understand about the repo servers, they don't need to be changed unless you're just adding a repo for software install.

If changing your server sources for software downloads, you may end up installing an incorrect or unsupported version which has not been made compatible with your distro... yet. @Aravisian in their infinite wisdom can correct me where necessary if I'm not entirely accurate here.

TLDR; no real reason to change your download server for Zorin install.

Regional Server or Main Server:

When a user installs a GnuLinux Distro, it often will automatically link them to their local Regional Server.
This allows that the local server may provide a better connection and faster speeds.

According to the maintainers, there should be no difference between the regional servers and the main server. All regional servers get their packages from the main server.
Some say that switching to the main server can put too much strain on the main server.

However, the Main Server is robust with redundancies and multiple mirrors. It can handle a substantial strain. The Main Server is what supplies the regional servers. There is no reason to believe that the Main Server cannot handle the load; In fact it can handle far more than the current traffic.

And often, we have noticed users running into installation and dependency issues due to their local regional server failing to have the correct packages and dependencies. While this is stated to not supposed to happen; it most certainly does happen. It happens most often when the maintainer of a regional server is not actively monitoring and correcting issues. It can also happen due to packet loss or poor connection.
Switching to the Main Server is a viable means that a user can get packages and files directly from the source, though it may be slightly slower.
