Isn't he working with dev's cachyOS?
That why you cannot trust youtubers.
Maybe they are exist a couple what you can count on a hand.

I don't know that, but he reports a lot of things, there's even an interview with them, if you check his videos, you'll notice a very big pattern, he always says "cachyOS is better". If we check carefully, the CachyOS kernel comes by default with CCP activated, P-state, among other settings, it is quite normal that the generic kernel will never have the same latency and performance, I happen to watch some videos from YouTubers just out of curiosity , some of them say things that don't make much sense, such as dedicated distributions for games don't make sense, yes of course a new user will not have the knowledge to apply all the modifications that distributions like Nobara, Bazzite, etc etc, this requires Some knowledge, in my opinion, it is good that there are this type of distributions with everything prepared for new users, so they know that it is possible to have a system with good performance in Linux.

Linux distributions for me are beginnesrs,intermediate and expert.
Reading Funtoo died.
That means best linux distribution what never die are corporation like Fedora
RHEL
SUSE
openSUSE
Ubuntu

I have installed opensuse Tumbleweed on one pc. OpenSuse have big library hardware support and is very old distribution.
Isn't difficult but every distribution need time to a learning.
Don't tried Tumbleweed-Slowroll.

Propably something here maybe exist subject talking about linux distributions without help. With some not hype subjection or suggestions.
For me all linux all the same. The diffrents are only desktop and package-manager.

Zorin OS 17 Pro is a great alternative to Windows and is no doubt in the top tier of Linux distro's. It may need a few tweaks to become the best Linux distro but it works well straight out of the box.
