Zorin 17 slightly disturbing design

I agree that Zorin 17 has a much better design than the previous version. But I found a little annoying in some parts.

  1. Button colors are confusing between active and inactive

(See Visible button)

It would be better if the active button was colored according to the theme color as in version 16.

  1. Hover on path location button (address bar) is less harmonious

Paths designed with a "/" separator combined with grey rounded hover are less harmonious. It would be better if the hover only had bold letters without a rounded gray background. Or maybe if want use rounded gray background, it's better not to use the "/" separator.

I feel very much the same about this. The active and inactive buttons are too similar to one another. Maybe if the one is dark on light and the other light on dark, inverted colours?

I agree. It is a bit easier on dark mode, which use, but still not ideal. Beautiful overall theme, but certainly some areas for improvement.

Yes, for me the design of Zorin 17 is the best compared to other distros at the moment. Just needs some minor improvements.

I agree that it is hard to discern the difference between active and inactive component. I ended up changing the CSS of Zorin's GTK theme and gnome shell to tweak those components. I like their UI design in general but they just need to tweak it a bit.
By the way, the "Zorin Blue Dark" theme is a pain to my eyes with the super light blue text lol. I really had to change them to white.

Yeah, just need minor improvements. Path location bar in file manager I think also better in version 16. In 17, when I click path location bar (long rounded grey), then a popup show from "three dot" at right side. Its a weird UX.

In 16, when click on it, the path location bar change to search box, it more intuitive.
