If the end user is jumping through hoops to get a distro to install or work, the proper course of action is to explore distros that might work with less headache.
For a very large number of Zorin OS users, it works out of the box. But there is no distro that suits everyone. In GnuLinux, we have great variety and many ways to get a workbench setup. Don't settle - Choose the best that you experience.
