Zorin can’t read Dropbox folder on ntfs mounted drive, into Dual boot Environment

Hello, I'm testing Zorin OS, and I think it's great. I have a dual-boot environment (Windows 11 x64 + Zorin 18 Core). I have Dropbox installed on Windows, with a lot of files. From Zorin, I can see, read, and write on my NTFS drive, but just I can't access the Dropbox folder itself, on the terminal, I see the following message:

Dropbox -> 'Unsupported resparse tag 0x9000f01a'

I've also tried the Linux distribution (WINUX OS), and I don't have this problem with it, I can browse my Dropbox folders on my NTFS drive.

Any suggestions are welcome, thank you.

Are Secure boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled? Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled, too? Does Zorin run in Wayland or X11?

Thanks for your answer, I've checked and everything is disabled. Secure boot & fast boot, both are disabled on the bios, and Fast Start-Up in Windows also is disabled.

This is caused by the Dropbox for Windows Updates feature.
Reinstalling Dropbox with that feature opted out of should give you a working access.
You may also need to boot into Windows, access Dropbox and reset the folders with alt+h (if the dropbox shortcuts listed on their page are accurate).

Thanks for replying, It's worked! After uninstalling Dropbox in Windows, I still couldn't access the "Dropbox" folder where my files are located from Zorin. I had to move the contents to another folder, delete the "Dropbox" folder, reinstall with the "Opt Out" option disabled.

Come back to Zorin and finally I have access to my files. I'm happy.
