Zorin installation broken

Hi guys. First of all, sorry if i made some mistake in my words. English isn't my first language.

The last two weeks im using the Zorin Os normaly but today, for some reason i can't find, the OS is just broken as hell.

I worked normally (im a software developer), shutdown the PC, when i power on the device again, everything is broken. I didn't updated anything. Just Power off, 2h later, power on.

The internet connection doesn't work, the second monitor doesn't work too. And, the principal monitor works in the wrong resolution (i can't change the res, and i can't change the HZ of the monitor)

Im using a dual boot with win11 (to play league of legends) and the ZorinOS to work, both in separated disks to avoid conflicts, but, well..

I have the commits i worked today, but in this scenario, im starting to think to just rework what i've done

If you have automatic updates enabled, you still can get system upgrades.

Can you try booting up - but at the Grub menu, select Advanced Options for Zorin

Select Zorin on... the older kernel, not the latest 6.17

Proceed to boot and relay if things are behaving normally.

Some Questions:

  • Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?
  • Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled?
  • Did You got any Updates in Windows?
  • Does Zorin run in Wayland or X11?
  • What Graphics Card You have?

After the issues i activated the secure boot option, nothing changes (expected)
Turn off, disable secure boot, boot again. Working fine now.

Thanks for the suggestions, i will anotate if this scenario returns to happen.
