Zorin on HP Pavilion x360 error

I had Zorin 17.3 core on this HP Pavilion x360 laptop which was working good but recently decided to upgrade to Zorin 18 core which had an error so went back to Zorin 17.3 which now has a Grub version 2.06 error. How do I fix this? Thanks, Joel

What Error is this in Detail? Can You post a Picture of it?

Hi: Right now I just have a black screen with grub> Possible commands are:
This was an install from a Zorin 17.3 CD which I think was very close to working. I have a Zorin 17,2 CD which was probably the one I originally used so I could try that. I bought this laptop new around 2017 at Best Buy and it has worked well, especially for traveling. Do you have a suggestion for a new 11" laptop that is affordable, lightweight, dependable and good for traveling? Apparently the issue is Zorin working on older laptops. Does that mean if I get it working I shouldn't try newer Zorin upgrades? Joel

Is it possible that you could make a Picture of it and post it here?

Could You post the Hardware Specs here? I mean Stuff like CPU, GPU, RAM etc.

Are You able to download a fresh ISO, check the Checksum and create a Bootstick?

These depends on the specific Hardware You use. Depending on that, You can try it with installing older Kernel for Example.

Several times I tried to install Zorin on my HP Pavilion x360 laptop 11.6" and I got a kernel error message. Yesterday I tried to install Zorin 18 core again and it was successful. Thinking my HP was end of life I ordered an Asus Vivobook Go 11.6" which is supposed to arrive 3/18/2026. I'll try to install Zorin 18 core on it as well. Both laptops are great for traveling so I should have a choice of 2. I work with A+ Computer, Olympia so should be knowledgeable about this. Joel

The hard drive install is no longer successful on the HP Pavilion x360 laptop 11.6" so apparently it needs a new hard drive. Hopefully the Asus Vivobook Go 11.6" install works so I have a reliable travel laptop. Joel
