Zorin OS 17.2 - Cannot Boot - System Error

Working through the linked Boot Repair instructions. Please advise me if I am on the right track.

  1. Created a USB disc 14GB - downloaded UUI .exe file (see attachment)

  2. Downloaded Boot Repair Disk 2.4G ISO file (see attachment)

  3. Installed UUI .exe file on the USB disc 14GB

  4. Prepared the UUI Installer with selected data (see attachment)

Please advise further.

When You still have the USB Stick with Zorin on it, You can simply use that. Start the Stick with Zorin on it, choose the ''Try Zorin'' Mode and then search for ''Boot Repair'' and start it.

I presume the first *.exe file is to repair Windows bootloader and the next one was for Zorin OS boot repair?

Thanks for your response.
To be honest. I understand the objective is to have a Boot Repair USB disc to boot the systems with which to repair them.
But I do not really understand the mechanics of how (why) to create the Boot Repair USB disc.

Eeeeeeiiiiiisssh! Require some detailed help!

Many thanks.

Before I had this System Boot Error. I attempted to link Zorin Connect - ZorinOS to my Huawei Android device.
The connection did not pair via Bluetooth.
Immediately thereafter I had the System Boot Error.

My action in my mind at the time did not impact (or still does not) me being unable to Boot into Zorin OS. Maybe I am wrong?

Your comments please.

Boot Repair Disk is the name of the app that contains Boot Repair Tool, It is designed to fix boot issues.

You do not need to create a Boot Repair USB separately, as you should already find it on the ZorinOS installation USB when you create one.

Thanks for your response.
Let me give this bash. Will let you know what happens.

Managed to get this far (see attached screenshot)
How do I proceed?

Please advise.

I for one am unable to read text of your screenshot. It is too small.

Thanks for your response.
I attempted to proceed from the last screen above (Boot Error Fix) I made no changes.
Shutdown my PC. Started PC. Proceeded to Zorin OS live (as it was before the boot error). Landed on a screen that I have never seen before asking me to Login. What do I do here? (see attached screenshot)

Please advise.

New screenshot. Please advise.

That is asking you to input those commands into the terminal, and executing them before clicking Forward in that window. That window they show may show up, and they're just saying to click yes if it does show up (using tab and enter keys). After those are done, you could then click forward to continue with boot-repair.

Thanks for your response. Let me give it a bash and revert.

Followed the Zorin OS USB >Try Zorin > Settings > Tools > Boot repair.
Received the Boot repair error message - "NVram is locked".
(see attached screenshot)

Please advise.
